THE MADELEINE MCCANN HOAX

UPDATE 20:04.16

In response to comment 15:04 below

I have been trying to work out what motivates the tabloids for years 15:04! Not sure I am any the wiser, other than to say all they really care about is the number of copies they shift.

Clarence is right, this is a soap opera, and the papers will watching their circulation figures carefully.  In 2007, McCann stories flew off the shelves - the McCanns were hot property and the interest continued. (well done Clarence)  Oprah didn't have them on her show because she liked them, they were there because the audience were curious, the whole world was. The same could be said for their breakfast sofa appearances - bums on seats and all that.  Katie Hopkins for example, is quite likely to say something outrageous that will grab the headlines, so she is a regular guest.

In their heyday, they could (and did) ask for whatever they wanted. The media didn't feel sorry for them, they wanted a cut of the action. As long as they shifted copy, they were handled with kid gloves.

The same mentality may persist even now 15:04. The end of this case may be as sensational as the beginning when newspapers and magazines were in a bidding war for anything Madeleine related.

Whoever gets 'the confession', will have a glittery future, it will become an iconic 'TV' or 'NEWS' item forever more. Never mind pitching for exclusives for the 10th Anniversary Clarence, the 'truth' could rake in millions and time is running out.

Journalists can be pretty ruthless when it comes to getting a scoop.  They will do all the boozing and schmoozing that they have to if they can grab the front and centre pages.  Some, like Lorraine, may establish a relationship (still makes her a two faced bitch)with their subjects, but all will do what they can to keep them onside.

The tabloids days are numbered, there aren't that many big pay days left.  The Media too remember those hazy, surreal days of summer 2007 when Madeleine stories sold in millions. It was a phenomenon and one they would no doubt like to recreate.

Whether that is possible anymore remains to be seen.  Anyone in the least bit curious about Madeleine's disappearance can see immediately that the newspapers are not telling the truth, so why buy them?

As I said before, the newspaper industry is a dying duck, all the bias, prejudice and manipulation has been exposed. Through the case of Madeleine McCann, ordinary people have woken up to the Media's deceit, and they have so many other options, they don't have to put up with it anymore.

Oh, and Happy 420 ;)

UPDATE 20.04.2016

Once again the tabloids are portraying the McCanns as victims, claiming they have 'lost' £500k that was earmarked for the search for Madeleine.  Let's be clear, the £500k wasn't theirs to lose.  It is money they demanded with menaces, the former police detective's home and all his assets.  Not only did they want to ruin him financially, they wanted him to feel misery and fear.

The McCanns agony lies in the fact that people are no longer giving them  money. They have run the Fund into the ground suing Goncalo Amaral, and any appeal for more 'search' funds will be seen for what it is.  They must now be facing legal costs that run into millions, their home and all their assets are at risk.  Everything they wished onto Goncalo Amaral has spun full circle  and come back onto themselves.

UPDATE 15.49

The only news thus far is that costs have been awarded against the Plaintiffs.  Effectively this means the McCanns will have to pay all their own costs (and the costs of the twins and Madeleine - they were claiming cash on Madeleine's behalf too) and the costs of Goncalo Amaral and the two other Defendants.  This is financial ruination in anyone's book, the costs will far exceed the damages they were awarded in the last round.

It is apparent from the pro McCann sites that the lawyers are frantically looking for grounds to appeal to the European Court of Human Rights.  If it is an option available to them, how on earth are they going to fund it?  The costs incurred already must run to millions, far more than the £750k they recently moved to a 'search' fund.  Will Isabelle Duarte carry on?  She looked none too happy last time.

Looks as though it is the end of the legal line for Gerry and Kate.  They became hooked on litigation following their winning streak, but they have now over played their hand and lost everything.  I don't see any way back from this.

UPDATE  13.30pm  19th April 2016

Good news coming in on Goncalo Amaral's appeal in Lisbon.  No details known yet, but great to see public support has prevented the McCanns from destroying Madeleine's Avenger.

Unfortunately, it raises huge questions about today's headlines, that they coincide with the announcement of the appeal result, seems more than a little coincidental.  If proof were ever needed that we were being manipulated, we have it in abundance today.

________________________________

It seems the entire British Establishment is treating the entire British public as if we were lobotomised half wits.  One of the most interesting factors in studying the case of missing Madeleine McCann has been discovering just how much our mainstream media are happy, willing and able to lie to and manipulate the public.  There is so much back scratching in this case, that I suspect nails are now scraping on spinal columns.

Once again, our newspapers and broadcasters are telling us they hope to find Madeleine alive, and the detective in charge of the case DCS. Duthie tells us that's what the parents want and that's what the public want, and by the power vested in him by the canonised pair, he will keep going, picking up £95k every six months - its taxpayers money, it's a bottomless pit and he won't be rushed.

Meanwhile, we must show the kind of compassion to the McCanns that they have not shown their enemies or even their children.  The anniversary is coming up and the collection buckets are being put out.  The £5m+ they had in their personal fund is all gone and so is the £12m donated by our government. Dig deeply folks, these are not just child neglectors, they are McCann child neglectors.  If they can get back on track, they can have a UK equivalent of the American NCMEC, with Gerry doing a John Walsh and hosting his own TV show. Watch out Simon Cowell, there's a new kid in town.

Perhaps due to the excessive back scratching, it appears there are very few spines left anywhere.  None of our elected politicians have ever questioned the inordinate sums spent on this one missing child, even though many of their constituents are suffering from rising crime and inhuman cutbacks.  Sofa Queens and Police Chiefs fawn over the stricken parents, the tragic victims of a brutal third world police force.  The name McCann is sacrosanct, spoken only in a revered tone for fear of adding to the 'victims' pain or being labelled a 'hater' - only the cruel and heartless believe the word of the 'disgraced' Portuguese police over the highly respected British doctors.

The headline 'Madeleine's Alive' is right up there with 'the Emperor's got new clothes', we are being asked to believe something that is not tangible, feasible or logical.  Those putting out those headlines believe we really are that stupid. It's actually quite insulting.  'Yeh, well we dug up all the areas surrounding 5A, but now we believe she's alive - she was seen having a stroll with Lazarus', he might just as well have added, please give generously on the 3rd May.

I can see why he wants to deflect suspicion from the parents, but it's pretty bad form to stitch up a fellow officer in Portugal who's appeal against the wicked machinations of the parents, is coming up.  Especially considering the crux of the case balances on the dead/alive issue.

I'm getting so fed up with this cat and mouse game, that I am not really sure I care anymore.  I have no doubt parents and their entourage will be haunted by their actions forever more, but I do object profusely to their continued enrichment through cruelty and deceit.  It irks even more that they are being aided and abetted in this by the British Authorities.  Those same authorities might want to bear in mind that some of we bloggers know a lot more about this case than we publish.  And we are not censored by editors, legal teams, politicians or 'favours' owed.  We hold back out of respect for the judicial process.  We are driven by our search for the truth and justice for the real victim in this crime, little Madeleine. For myself, I am just as outraged at the evil perpetrated in this child's name now as I was in 2007, in fact more so, as those who seized on her tragedy continue to trade on her name and persecute others.

These ongoing crimes are not victimless.  Goncalo Amaral, the first detective in charge of a Madeleine investigation has been pilloried, demonised and financially ruined by these former suspects.  And in the McCanns' quest to take control of the British media, an innocent woman died - not because she had committed any crimes, but because she dared to question the lies published in our daily newspapers.

The  newspaper industry is a dying duck.  Not just because people have the news online, but because they are waking up to the dishonesty and manipulation of the MSM.  The public want the truth and the truth is now only a couple of clicks away.  While today's tabloid front pages might shout 'Madeleine is Alive', a discerning public will be checking out twitter and the McCann Files and I doubt very much there will be any surge in newspaper sales and donations.

  2. Well summed up Ros. One only has to look at the comments section of every paper printing this merde to see the public are sick to the back teeth of being shafted and told it's us who are the bad guys for asking the questions that remain unanswered for nine long years of this badly acted improvisational drama. A statement from Scotland Yard on where they stand on the accuracy of sniffer dogs' work is now embarrassingly overdue - by nine years.

    1. It is bizarre that they are so willing to look like total eejits. Not only in this small corner of the internet, but in the full glare of every other police force in the world. They are not coming over compassionate, so much as stupid.

The finer details of Madeleine's disappearance have been available to the public for 8 years. Even the most amateur of armchair detectives can spot the glaring inconsistencies in a nanosecond beginning with the fact that there was no abductor. And never, in the history of crime, has a burglar broken into an unlocked apartment, ignored all the booty, and escaped with a dead child. There is the Twilight Zone and then there is meanderings of Scotland Yard, and the Twilight Zone is less surreal.

I take these deliberate lies as a personal insult. It is as if they are saying to me, 'listen you dumb arsed pleb, you will believe what you are told'. I don't like that.

  3. "Man arrested over 1994 murder of Rikki Neave
    Jamie Grierson

A man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a six-year-old boy nearly 22 years ago.
The suspect, from Peterborough, is in his 30s, meaning he would have been a teenager when Rikki Neave was strangled more than two decades ago.
Rikki was last seen leaving his home on the Welland estate in Peterborough to go to school on 28 November 1994. The following day his naked body was found in nearby woodland and his clothing – grey trousers, a white shirt, black shoes and a blue coat – were found in a wheelie bin.
Rikki’s mother, Ruth, 46, was charged with murder but cleared by a jury. She admitted charges of causing child cruelty to Rikki and his two sisters, Rebecca, then eight, and Rochelle, three, and was sentenced to seven years in prison. In recent years she has campaigned for Cambridgeshire police to reinvestigate the killing, claiming his killer remains at large.
In June last year, the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire major crime unit relaunched the inquiry.
In November, detectives and Rikki’s mother took part in a BBC Crimewatch appeal, which revealed four possible sightings of the six-year-old, as well as an artist’s impressions of two men whom officers wanted to identify. As the anniversary of his death approached, detectives said they were closing in on Rikki’s killers.
The suspect was arrested on Tuesday morning and is in custody at a police station in Cambridgeshire. He is the first person to be arrested since Neave was acquitted.
The original case caused a national outcry after details of horrific abuse were presented in court. But Neave – who was labelled Britain’s most evil mother by some newspapers at the time of her trial – held a press conference last year at which she protested her innocence and said she had been pressured into admitting the cruelty charges.
She and her new husband, Gary Rogers, compiled their own dossier of evidence, claiming Rikki was murdered by a sex gang operating on the estate at the time.
When the inquiry was relaunched, Det Supt Paul Fullwood, head of Beds, Cambs and Herts major crime unit, revealed there had been other similar incidents, including children being left tied up in woods, around the time of the boy’s death.
He said that despite the previous prosecution, Neave was being treated strictly as the mother of the victim."

    1. I would like to say thank God the police have advanced so much in 22 years, but Operation Grange still looking for an abductor prevents me.

Had the Rikki murder occurred now, the police would know immediately, simply by the way in which the body was found, that the mother was not responsible.

The mother of Rikki was obviously treated by the police, the media and the public as a stereotype of a feckless cruel underclass mother with no moral boundaries. As indeed was Karen Matthews. The headlines appeared compassionate, but you couldn't miss the sniggering.

I suspect you are juxtaposing the suffering of this mother with the suffering of Kate McCann. But I am not sure it works, because Kate and her husband were overwhelmed with public support - to the tune of approximately £5m+. There is really no comparison.

  4. Yes hot of the press the news of GA's appeal, upheld. Then we do look and wonder about the news over the past weeks (Hacked off) and particularly MSM headlines of yesterday and this morning. Now. 13.45 .... we wait to see if the UK MSM publish this out come. But really do we want them to, since this will be another negative platform for the Portuguese investigation and more rope to keep to the agenda of a FINDABLE child.

'' If proof were ever needed that we were being manipulated, we have it in abundance today ''

Yes, we await to see the manipulation as it happens. But we the camp followers could have well guessed all this would happen.

So, an investigation that went from £12m to another £95k for a four man team, has gained strength of £200k for another six months, oh dear, they must have known there would be no money available for the next private investigation. But the MET or more importantly the British Government has to draw a line - since this is a political decision & policically funded investigation from central funding.

GA got justice in Portugal, sadly he will never get it in the UK. Even a doctor who kills a patient through neglect hasn't had to suffer GA's indignation.

  5. That the press continue with this nonsense when it is so blatantly a pack of lies must surely be putting yet another nail in the MSM coffin? The papers that publish this rubbish can have zero credibility. I cannot believe that a single journalist believes this. In my opinion this hoax was partly a media hoax which ended up being botched. Therein lies the answer, I do believe, at least in part, for the continuing media spin. To reveal 'the truth' would be to uncover the hoax. But this puts the credibility of these papers at an all-time low.

But I really wonder if, the outcome of this appeal was known, and could account for the hype over the past few weeks & days.

An appeal to the European Court of Human Rights, can only (hopefully) conclude, the same explained & valid judgement of the Portuguese decision - looks like they dotted the i's and crossed the t's and bolted the gate closed.

    2. I don't believe any higher Court will take away Goncalo Amaral's right to have an opinion. As Isobel said, this is a Freedom of Speech issue, and the higher up the Courts you go, the more important it becomes.

The McCanns already have enemies, if they take a FOS issue before a European Court, they will be universally despised. They really don't have any filters or stop buttons, nor do their advisors. Naturally the lawyers will say 'sue, sue, sue', they get paid either way.

They haven't a hope in hell in front of a Supreme Court, and the European Court, is probably just a pipedream, a bit of bravado yesterday after their defeat.

    5. 19:27. I don't think the McCanns have any deep and large pockets to call on anymore. They really struggled to get sponsors for their runs etc, only reaching their targets by receiving a £5k donation from Hugh Grant.

The McCanns are vexatious litigants 19:27. I know quite a lot about VLs as I spent many years working as a legal secretary. Without exception, they were horrible people - rude, arrogant and constantly on the look out for something to be offended by. Also, without exception, they will carry on until they lose everything. As you can imagine, we secretaries had little sympathy for them, they treated us like skivvies, but the lawyers tolerated them, because, basically, they would never go away and besides, they were constant source of fees. The savvy ones worked on retainers - money up front. And after yesterday's result, I would imagine ALL the McCann lawyers will now be asking for this, if they haven't already.

    1. Blimey, that's going to be a pretty long list!

Actually, I am quite looking forward to seeing all those who covered up this poor child's death named and shamed. What they have done, takes 'wicked' to a whole new level and involves so many 'VIPs', all of whom revealed their innate snobbery and prejudices. They believed the professional, middle class McCanns were 'too good' and too elevated above the hoi polloi to have done something so grubby as to dispose of a child's body.

    2. The list of those to be sued would be extensive.IMO Mr Amaral would go for the main players. In recent days since the appeal courts decision we hear that Mr Amaral is to sue the Mccanns. Then we hear the Mccanns will sue anyone selling Mr Amarals book.I'd say that this is a bad move on Mccann part because it just attracts more attention to the book,'folk will be thinking they've summat to hide'. Three questions come to my mind:-

      1) Why have these two got so much clout?

      2) Who are they ????

      3) When are they moving into Number 10?

Nothing surprises me re this case anymore.

  12. How much will the McCanns have to pay in court costs?

    ReplyDelete

    1. The legal costs must run into hundreds of thousands, if not millions 20:10. Lawyers charge by the hour - and Kate and Gerry must now pay not only their own lawyers but the lawyers of Goncalo Amaral and the two other defendants.

They literally risked everything in pursuing their case against Goncalo Amaral. A moral lawyer (is there such a thing?) would have advised them to STOP long ago.

When the McCanns received their big payouts from the UK newspapers, it wasn't because the papers were 'giving in', it was because a £500k payout was considerably cheaper than a long drawn out trial.

The Lisbon case has been going on for around 5 years, and if each lawyer averages £300 per hour, you can begin to see the scale of the costs they now face. Unless they have millions stashed away, the McCanns now face financial ruin.

  15. Tempting as it is to want GA to take everyone to the cleaners, including all the biased newspapers and media outlets, he'd be wiser to pick his fights more carefully. In fact, maybe he could learn from the McCanns, who found that suing only one newspaper 'pour encourager les autres', and offering careful, approved access to the rest, was the wiser route. They then made lap dogs of the rest of the press pack.
Now the media has much to fear. Sky (and so by extension, Murdoch) hounded a woman who later killed herself - essentially because her tweets supported Amaral and criticised the McCanns. Does Amaral really want to scare the press pack so much that they then fund the McCanns defence further? Wouldn't it be better to make peace with a least some of them and gain some press support? By all means go for the McCanns and their friends, and carefully choose one or two media targets to compensate for all those years of hardship - but don't try to fight everyone would be my advice. Things are looking good now. For the first time Goncalo may have the opportunity to make a few 'friends' (and take away a few of the McCanns friends) and I think he should take it. I suppose I'm just a cynic.

The McCanns have spent 8+ years battling it out in the Civil courts and look where its got them? Not to mention, simply living with all those trials over their heads is a hellish life choice.

I want to see Goncalo Amaral doing as many, if not more, interviews than the McCanns, he's the good guy and the world needs to see that. His book, The Truth of the Lie, says all that needs to be said, and the more who read it, the better.

  16. The case has been solved at long last. Congratulations to the police for finally outwitting a vagrant, a drug addict, and a schoolboy. Well done to everyone concerned. The £12M was money well spent.

    ReplyDelete
  17. In a nutshell 09:02! Although if true, it seems the vagrant, the drug addict and the schoolboy have outwitted 31 homicide detectives and all the resources of Scotland Yard.

Joking aside, I think it appalling that the Star have named these 3 men as suspects in the abduction and probable murder of Madeleine McCann. What effect will this have on their lives? I doubt they are in any position to sue anyone, so must spend the remainder of their lives under a cloud of suspicion.

I think if Scotland Yard close their investigation with the botched burglary explanation, they will be universally mocked. Four and a half years and that's what they come up with?

Tbh, I think it is ludicrous to suggest that £12m has been spent on chasing 3 inept burglars. The size and scale of Operation Grange would suggest they were investigating the Mafia or an organised crime ring of some description. And if they are closing the file with no arrests, they have failed miserably.
