SO EXPLAIN HOW THEY DID IT

LOL Ziggy (spokesman for the McCanns)* you want me to compile a believable narrative to the McCanns and Tapas statements. I'm flattered that you would turn to me for such a plotline (and yeah, it would be a piece of cake), but I'm not doing it.  As a writer, plotlines are kinda my thing, I once spent an entire weekend figuring out how to get a character off the Titanic as it went down, my ‘new’ storyline was seamless and quite brilliant, lol.

But back to the topic.  You want me, a mere blogger, to provide an answer to all those anomalies in the tapas group story and succeed, where all those dozens of police detective who have access to all the information, have failed.  And indeed all the McCanns’ own writers (Summers and Swan, Tigerloaf, Ziggy Sawdust etc) and batshit crazy online supporters have also failed.  Quite spectacularly I might add.

So everyone’s failed Ziggy, on that we probably mutually agree.  No-one, thus far, has come up with a definitive storyline that clears the parents and their friends and lifts all clouds of suspicion away from them. They haven’t passed lie detector tests, they haven’t been ruled out by reason of rock solid alibis, they are each others’ alibis.  Their alibi is collective, if anyone deviates from the script, they will all have a lot of explaining to do.  Ergo, none of them have been able to speak about the events on that holiday for 11+ years.

Given that suspects, witnesses, etc, once lawyered up, cannot legally be coerced or forced into giving additional statements, there is nothing the collective Law (no pun intended) can do about it.  That’s why so many suspects seem to walk away, even if they do live forever with that cloud of suspicion over them knowing they are on borrowed time.  Advances in technology are seeing cold cases, some decades old, being brought to justice.

It is clear I think, that the police, both British and Portuguese are not looking for a live Madeleine, or indeed an abductor. It is unlikely all those leads they have mentioned are ongoing.  No police force would leave an active paedophile, predator, child trafficking gang to carry on with their crimes all these years without arrest.  It would in fact be criminally negligent of them, if they did. What if another child were stolen?

So given that the police are no longer looking for an abductor, from all appearances, and no longer looking for a live child, why is Operation Grange still live?  Why do Scotland Yard still have such a strong influence on the the investigation of what is, essentially, a Portugese case, falling under Portuguese jurisdiction. Logically it is down to the Portuguese to issue arrest warrants and pursue a prosecution.

It could of course be that the British police and the Portuguese police have reached different conclusions, though that, I think, is the least likely scenario.  Two police forces are not going to be funded by two countries, to act in opposition to each other. Good diplomatic relations between the UK and Portugal supersede the plight of two British doctors.  At least in David Cameron’s book, who not only took a family holiday in Portugal, but gave the go ahead for the opening up of a Scotland Yard investigation.  Knowing, I am sure, the full story, that is, the Portuguese interrupted investigation and the full findings of the British secret services.  Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe, said as much when Operation Grange opened in a fanfare of publicity all those years ago. From what I remember it sounded as though those 130+ suspects they had in their sights, were British.  Which of course would make sense, British detectives do not have the language skills, the local knowledge, or the resources to carry out any meaningful investigation in Portugal.  Imagine Portuguese police, trying to carry out a similar investigation in Leicester and you get the picture.

Regardless the case is still open Ziggy, albeit with a much reduced skeleton staff to keep it going.  Why? In 2008, the Portuguese Police were not prepared to continue with an investigation that was going nowhere. And it was going nowhere because the parents and their friends would not return to PDL to a reconstruction, or answer further questions. They hit that wall that I am sure is all too familiar to many detectives. They did not have enough evidence to bring a prosecution.

In 2011, the Portuguese police and the British police had enough evidence to re-open the shelved filed and for the British, to start a whole new investigation from scratch.  Those of us who have been around a while remember how adamant the Portuguese were about not re-opening their files. Their attitude ‘we have been led on a song and dance, enough!’, perhaps even, ‘the parents of this child is your [British politicians and police] problem, we wash our hands of it’.  That would be the logical, rational conclusion.  The PJ, had via the Team McCann global campaign, been led off on a multitude of wild goose chases courtesy of the proactive family, and, quite understandably, had had enough.  But in 2011 when Operation Grange got the go ahead, something changed for the Portuguese too.

It is bizarre, that it was Gerry and Kate picking away at the scab as it was healing, or at least fading from public memory, but as usual, their appearance in any headlines can usually be traced back to their now enfeebled media monitoring machine.  Their determination to stay on the front pages is difficult to understand, given the amount of risk it involved. Every time they spoke, all those 'nasty internet trolls and forums' were revitalised.  The control they had over the MSM never extended to the internet, where freedom of speech still prevails.

Despite all the efforts of Team McCann, many of which were sordid and abhorrent, they have never been able to silence those of us on the internet who simply do not believe them.  True, they succeeded in convincing the world that their critics were haters, pitchforkers and minions of Satan, but their twisted ideology began to wear thin.  When I gave an interview to the Sun newspaper, under the headline of being a troll, lol, I didn't receive any criticism from the public whatsoever.  All of the hate mail, and suggestions to kill myself, came from the hardcore 'antis'.

The tactics of the Team McCann Media Monitoring Machine, will, I am sure, be discussed at great length in the future.  Social media is now the battlefield of choice, for just about every situation, and the missing Madeleine case could be said to have laid the groundwork and not in a good way.  That is, step one, demonise your enemy, claim not believing the god fearing, church going McCanns is a sign of inherent evil and mental deficiency.  Step two, name, shame and inform neighbours, friends, employers, customers, book publishers, of their target's 'online behaviour'.  All standard practice for the anonymous group of concerned citizens who selected Brenda Leyland for full public retribution.  Retribution that never came, because the public were appalled not with Brenda, but with the cruelty of all those who took part in such an outrageous publicity stunt.  Tragic that Brenda did not live long enough to have realised that.

But I have digressed Ziggy, you want me to give you a blow by blow account of how the parents of Madeleine were involved in her disappearance, you are saying to me, what you have been saying to Goncalo Amaral, and every detective who has investigated this case.  Prove it.  If not shut up.  End of. Period.  Lol.  For a blow by blow account, I would refer you to GA's Truth of the Lie, and of course the interrupted original investigation.  The theory of GA, and the interrupted investigation, is the only one that fits the facts and circumstances.

I'm not a detective Ziggy, more an amateur psychologist, or people watcher.  Gerry and Kate's reaction to their newly found fame intrigued me.  So too the idea that this couple, who so loved the limelight, could in fact be hiding a terrible secret.  Gerry’s need to ‘seize the day’, was in itself gripping to watch. My thoughts at the time, this is a man who never lets an opportunity pass him by.  That of course is the secret behind every successful person, but bizarre that the day in question is the one on which your daughter disappeared.

Yes, Rosalinda, that's right. Anyone who refuses to condemen two people who are presumed innocent until found guilty ( or even charged ) must be spoekespeople for the McCanns.lack of evidence or proof mean nothing. Anyone refusing to agree with your crazy world view or ham-fisted detective work deserves to be treated with contempt. you've been wrong for eleven years now.Are you looking forward to the next eleven and more of the same. Why not tackle Ziggy when he gives you the opportunity to destroy his arguments and defend your own ? This is yet another tired example of your childishness, spitefulness and, aboce all, your now trademark petulance.I half hope ZS takes your post apart as he normally does.

    1. I wasn't referring to 'anyone' Ziggy, I was referring to you specifically. You put such an inordinate amount of time and effort into defending the McCann camp, you should at least take credit. And referring to yourself in the third person isn't working Ziggy. You may have alter egos who are more articulate, or even more zany, but they are all you.

Why so coy? Why distance yourself from the parents and the family? Why hide behind pseudonyms? In your mind, you, as a defender of the McCanns, are the decent concerned citizen here, you are doing the honourable thing, so why not put your name to it?

You are accusing me of childishness, spitefulness and petulance - I have no idea where that has come from, other than inside your own head.

Meanwhile I look forward to Ziggy (you) taking my post apart, lol.

    2. '' You put such an inordinate amount of time and effort into defending the McCann camp, you should at least take credit.''

I defend the rights of anyone who is being accused, without grounds or evidence of guilt, of a crime.Anyone arrested and charged with committing a crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty. I take credit for recognising this and reminding others of it. These people haven't been arrested or charged in 11 years. Everything online amounts to a kangaroo court and is beyond bad taste. You interpret this as being 'part of the inner circle' or part of 'team McCann'. That's pitiful coming from someone pretending to look at all angles and both sides of an argument. To make those kind of accusations or assumptions smacks of desperation or / and petulance. Why you are so desperate to see these two parents suffer even more than they already have is shameful.

    4. You are right the McCanns have not been arrested and charged with any offence. That alone is very odd considering they left 3 young children alone night after night. However the McCanns were never ruled out of involvement in their daughter's disappearance. This was made clear by the Portuguese Supreme Court last year. The last official word on the case was the PAG Archiving report which cleared Robert Murat but not the McCanns. The McCanns remain suspects. To help stop 'online Kangaroo courts' it might be a good idea for the police to re-interview and investigate the McCanns and their friends.

''So given that the police are no longer looking for an abductor, from all appearances, and no longer looking for a live child, why is Operation Grange still live? ''

You 'think' that the police are not looking for a live child or abductor. Then you talk as though it's a 'given' merely because it's your opinion.Arrogance aside, you're a 'mere blogger' remember. Are you right to think what you think or not ? Operation is still alive because the financial blood is still being fed into it's veins. They do NOT need that to investigate two people. They've had 11 years to do that.It seems you're wrong again.

'' Logically it is down to the Portuguese to issue arrest warrants and pursue a prosecution. ''

Logic was abducted soon after Madeleine.Scotland Yard have assumed control because they were ordered to from the Home Office here in the UK.They outrank Portugal and the PJ.Why not ask why they pulled rank if it wasn't a political event ?

''In 2008, the Portuguese Police were not prepared to continue with an investigation that was going nowhere. And it was going nowhere because the parents and their friends would not return to PDL to a reconstruction, or answer further questions.''

Is that it ? The 'suspects' escaped justice by not staging a recreation ? Brilliant police work. That's like failing to put a suspect in court, regardless of the seriousness of the allegations, merely because he wouldn't answer questions.

''They did not have enough evidence to bring a prosecution.''

They actually didn't have any at all. Just very loosely connected imaginary scenarios.

'' fading from public memory, but as usual, their appearance in any headlines can usually be traced back to their now enfeebled media monitoring machine.''

    So blame the machine.

''Their determination to stay on the front pages is difficult to understand, given the amount of risk it involved.''

If their was a risk, they wouldn't have done it.Again, blame the monitors. The parents didn't perceive a risk obviously or they'd have stayed in the background. They didn't perceive trolls as a risk, merely a group of bored online nutcases trying to be a pernicious force out to destroy two people who had already suffered a tragic loss.

''they have never been able to silence those of us on the internet who simply do not believe them.''

That's not a victory for free speech. It's a victory for empty vessels.

''the anonymous group of concerned citizens who selected Brenda Leyland for full public retribution. ''

Leeching on a tragic figure to elicit support is stomach churning. Why do you always fall back on that ? Can you identify the group or how they selected her ? Or was it a joint op carried out by Sky and Twitter bosses ?

''For a blow by blow account, I would refer you to GA's Truth of the Lie''

Written by the man who failed the parents as well as his bosses and has yet to provide anything other than guesses.Brilliant.

''I'm not a detective Ziggy, more an amateur psychologist, or people watcher''

    People watcher possibly, yes.

You have avoided the real meat and potatoes as usual.I suggested, on your most recent blog, you addressed, along with your faithful people watchers, that you addressed the 'whys' of the politicians, MI5/6, Forensics, Tapas group and the willingness to conceal so much and risk even more for two holiday makers.

    1. I see you are still really strong on the wind baggery Ziggy, lol.

Am I right to think what I think? Odd question. Do you mean morally? I prefer reason and logic, if that is sinful, so be it.

Where on earth did you get the idea that Scotland Yard pulled rank on this case? How do they outrank the PJ? The crime (the first one)was committed in Portugal, the PJ will always have the lead.

As for risk, Gerry and Kate are known risk takers, leaving toddlers alone in a holiday apartment for example. And some might say, they get a buzz out of the risks they take, Gerry has been caught a few times with a hint of a grin, known as Duping Delight (see blog of same name).

I have always felt that they have taunted Goncalo Amaral with their 'prove it' taunts. It was another way for them to show their contempt for him. But 'prove it' is the only defence they have. Even here on my blog, you challenge me to prove they were involved, state where they hid the body, and how they moved it under the noses of the world's press.

    2. ''Am I right to think what I think? Odd question. Do you mean morally? I prefer reason and logic, if that is sinful, so be it.''

Let me try to simplify it just for you. How accurate are your conclusions? Better ? As for the morality and sinfulness of your spiteful babbling, it doesn't matter. We aren't in the middle ages at the mercy of the church as our police force, judge, jury and executioner. But the reason and logic you claim resides within your findings don't exist. They're suspicions and opinions and, no matter how clever you think you are and never tire of reminding us, your opinions and guesses have no more weight than their opposite while neither have a spec of evidence to seal the deal. Sorry- that's a truth; a fact.

''And some might say, they get a buzz out of the risks they take, Gerry has been caught a few times with a hint of a grin''

Thanks for that insight. And you didn't even cite Peter Hyatt, Bible-basher and face reader extraordinaire , as your inspiration.Any evidence of the 'buzz' or are you trying to convince us that they get one whether or not there's any evidence ? More guesswork from a suspicious mind.

''I have always felt that they have taunted Goncalo Amaral with their 'prove it' taunts''

Only a fool would call them taunts.Normal, balanced individuals would recognise them as demands and that the parents had every right to demand that Amaral should stop actually taunting them via his press interviews and his 'literary work' of opinions and show his evidence. He still can't can he ? It's all been hidden by politicians and policemen and forensic scientists to protect two holidaymakers.

'' But 'prove it' is the only defence they have.''

That's more than enough. It's also why they haven't faced a charge .You can't produce a book of stories and imagined scenarios as evidence for the prosecution. That's silly.

'' Even here on my blog, you challenge me to prove they were involved, state where they hid the body''

I wouldn't challenge you or any other crazy to prove anything if the police can't.I merely ask for evidence to support accusations. It's simple really.

    3. continues.

The search for Madeleine was harmed by the Parents and their friends refusal to co-operate with the police. They were the prime suspects, they weren't looking for anyone else. And who refuses to answer police questions? Especially the mother of a missing child.

To say the parents didn't perceive a risk [in going public] is an out and out lie Ziggy. They were complaining about online trolls from day. Hence they set up their own media monitoring machine. Defending the McCanns online was a full time profession for some people.

I object to your use of the word 'leeching'. The tragedy of Brenda Leyland should not be brushed under the carpet. It is integral to the way in which Team McCann ran their media monitoring team, something that will one day be exposed fully. As for a joint op between Skye and Twitter, lol at your audacity, do we believe you or our lying eyes? Gerry says an example needs to be made. Jim Gamble appears on Sky saying those who hound the McCanns should be 'in the dock' and Martin Brunt turns up on Brenda Leyland's doorstep with a camera crew.

Goncalo Amaral's Truth of the Lie, still remains the definitive book on what happened in PDL during the summer of 2007. GA was close to solving the case, which I guess is why he was removed from the investigation.

As for the meat and potatoes, I have explained many times why I think the politicians, the various police agencies, the charities, etc, interfered in this case. Have none of my previous blogs got through to you? The last blog, the one you responded to initially, begins with I think there was a major Oops in Downing Street.

I have done blogs explaining the ways in which police agencies are financed. In this capitalist age, they have to compete with each other for funds. All of the blogs are still here Ziggy, you just need to read them, and allow the substance of them to sink in.

All of your questions I have answered many times before. I can of course see that you want me to say something libellous or 'troll like', but that's never been my style bad luck.

Sadly, people in all walks of life are vulnerable to blackmail, bribery and corruption, especially those further up the VIP ladder. In the past, politicians could be corrupted by threat of exposure of their homosexuality, now it is more likely to be allegations of paedophilia.

In the US, Trump appears to be jumping through hoops for Vladimir Putin, based, it would seem, on Kompromat (compromising information) (pee tape)held by his nemesis. Getting kompromat on public figures would seem to be a growing practice, and probably not just in Russia.

    4. ''They were the prime suspects, they weren't looking for anyone else. And who refuses to answer police questions? Especially the mother of a missing child.''

They were never prime suspects.Only online.Murat was tailed for 24 hours and grilled as a suspect.he was brought in again later. That makes him look closer to prime suspect than he parents. If the police weren't looking for anyone else that's incompetence and dangerous. They were supposed to consider all possibilities. No wonder they were criticized. As for the 48 (yawn)questions.Read them. They were ridiculous questions and it was clear that they were designed to try and trip a parent up who was already dazed by what had happened.

''To say the parents didn't perceive a risk [in going public] is an out and out lie Ziggy''

I didn't say that though.Unless you can find where you're quoting from.

'' They were complaining about online trolls from day. Hence they set up their own media monitoring machine. Defending the McCanns online was a full time profession for some people. ''

If your toddler had been taken and the police were showing no signs of finding her how would you feel ? If the online bored decided that you were guilty of hiding your child's body then lying even though nobody had charged you with it, how would that make you feel ?The McCanns were medical people not media people. The politicians were media savvy and they perceived a need to protect( not defend) them. That some made a handsome living doing that explains why the media headlines and general coverage was so prevalent; they had to be seen to be earning their salary.

''As for a joint op between Skye and Twitter, lol at your audacity, do we believe you or our lying eyes?''

You have produced a blog filled with years of lies and accusations you can't back up.You don't get to call anyone a liar.Sky( Brunt) followed BL then landed on her doorstep following Twitter alerts. It was a major media coup for the Murdoch crew, not the parents of Madeleine. You can object as much as you like, I object to anyone refusing to let somebody rest in peace just to support their own crusade and i pity the creatures trying to twist it all into a McCann mafia 'hit'.It's embarrassing even to read.

'' GA was close to solving the case, which I guess is why he was removed from the investigation. ''

Not like you to guess. How do you explain his colleagues who weren't removed.Did they suffer amnesia ?

''All of your questions I have answered many times before. I can of course see that you want me to say something libelous or 'troll like', but that's never been my style bad luck.''

I want you to answer questions honestly. Most of what you say is 'troll like' anyway. But you aren't taken seriously enough for anything to land before a judge. You're one of hundreds saying the same things constantly.

Leverage in the US has always worked as it has here.We have the Zionists and Freemasons and Fabians to thank for that. But blood oaths are exactly what they say on the label. That's why we only find out postmortem. In the case in PDL i personally suspect very high stakes and they never involved any doctors on holiday.

    5. Hi Ziggy. I just felt I had to say a few words here. Do not lose the reality perspective Ziggy

The only reason as to why the McCanns haven’t yet been brought to justice in Portugal is because the Prosecutor’s office haven’t got enough evidence, but not because they don’t have any at all.

The Smiths certainly didn’t hallucinate when they believe, that they saw Gerry carrying a small child down a narrow street in PDL. Neither did Martin Grime’s dogs try to fool him when they alerted for scent of death and blood in the McCanns’ apartment, in their rented car and on Kate’s clothes. The only ”loosely connected imaginary scenario” is that about a stranger having snatched Madeleine from her bed, without being seen by anyone before entering the apartment, while being in the apartment, when leaving it or at any time after that. The official assumption (British MSM) about an abduction is based solely on the McCann's story and not on anything else, the released PJ files included

''Hi Ziggy. I just felt I had to say a few words here. Do not lose the reality perspective Ziggy''

I was wondering when you and / or jc would turn up to join in :-)

''The only reason as to why the McCanns haven’t yet been brought to justice in Portugal is because the Prosecutor’s office haven’t got enough evidence, but not because they don’t have any at all. ''

Source ? What is the evidence and whom does it incriminate ? It sounds like no evidence to me.

''The Smiths certainly didn’t hallucinate when they believe, that they saw Gerry carrying a small child down a narrow street in PDL.''

They didn't, that's right. But Smith wasn't sure enough as it was a dark night in a dark street and they were on their way home from a bar.Why wouldn't he want to help solve the case do you think ?

'' Neither did Martin Grime’s dogs try to fool him when they alerted for scent of death and blood in the McCanns’ apartment, in their rented car and on Kate’s clothes''

Yet it isn't considered evidence by the police of two countries. How strange.Even if death and /or blood was detected it doesn't identify a killer or cause of death does it ? Why have the forensic scientists not allowed that evidence would you say ?

''The only ”loosely connected imaginary scenario” is that about a stranger having snatched Madeleine from her bed, without being seen by anyone..''

You're quoting my remark regarding author and former detective Amaral. So you're being careless as the scenario you're alluding to is the only one he(Gonc) doesn't suggest. He prefers the accidental death, the later storage in a coffin, then cremated, then a fridge, then a hire car then buried. They sound pretty loosely connected from where I'm reading.

      Bernard Hogan-Howe:
"But in terms of that file, what happened if you recall was that the family handed to our team that are investigating the, or reviewing the murder of...of sorry, reviewing the missing girl, the McCann daughter. The file was handed to that team and we were liasing with Leicestershire police which is where the McCann family live..."

    8. I can't see why you've highlighted the quote about what Sky did after liaising with twitter then quoted Hogan Howe's slip of the tongue or references to the family. The quote is lifted out of context. The whole interview was about the apparent grey area of cybercrime and cyber bullying and so on. If the area of slander, libel, harassment, and defamation is / was grey and a new area online, what's wrong with handing in evidence of such to the police ? A family who had lost a child and made appeals publicly for help received unbridled hatred from strangers on the world wide web. That's not right in a civilized society. Maybe if they had been convicted it would be understandable. But they have never been charged. The crux of the argument is should trolling, making allegations you can't support or character assassination be allowed to go unpunished and if you're the victim of it should you be allowed to inform the police or pursue legal avenues to have it curtailed or stopped altogether. Is it only 'virtual' if 'real' people do it online ? In the case of BL, the MET were liaising with Leicester Constabulary about what had happened. But who got in first before all of those detectives ? Martin Brunt / Sky TV / Murdoch's minions. The police didn't have the opportunity to investigate once the circus hit town.So..blame the parents again...unbelievable.

    9. Err, yes they were prime suspects Ziggy, do you not remember the interim report of Tavares Almeida? It reaches the same conclusion as Goncalo Amaral. No mention of Robert Murat or anyone else.

Once the blood and cadaver dogs alerted, the investigation changed. They knew that Madeleine was no longer alive. That might not be enough to convince you Ziggy, but it was meaningful to the detectives searching for Madeleine. And if the McCanns were convinced the police were wrong, why didn’t they plead with them to keep their file open and carry on with the search? They accepted the shelving of the investigation a little too gleefully, (see Expresso interview) to believe they were genuinely looking for their daughter. Why the reluctance to prove their innocence Ziggy? You may sneer at the 48 questions, but since when do suspects get to censor the questions that are asked of them? Have they no respect for the detectives? It would seem not from Kate’s potty mouthed inner dialogue, but she and her husband would probably be offended if their patients pointed out where their organs were. Who are they to judge how detectives work?

You ask how I would feel if my toddler had been taken and the police were making no progress or words to that effect. I don’t think there are any circumstances whatsoever where I would disrespect the police who were searching for my child. I would feel helpless in the face of such adversity and I would lean on and look up to the men and women who’s help I desperately needed. I would comply with everything they asked, and I would offer as much information as I could think of. And like so many bereft families that I watch in those real crime docu/dramas, I would be knocking on police doors daily. No knocking on police doors for Gerry and Kate eh Ziggy? No demands for answers, no new campaigns to find out what happened to Madeleine. We are all frustrated at waiting for a result from Operation Grange, how must Gerry and Kate feel?

It would be wrong on every level to forget the tragedy of Brenda Leyland Ziggy. We all wish her eternal peace, but her actual death was the result of a social media war that spilled over into the real world with very real and tragic consequences. Lessons we hope, have been learned. Perhaps news teams might now think twice before they destroy lives on the recommendations of concerned citizens.

You accuse me of writing a blog full of lies and false allegations. Not true. I write with honesty and integrity, I am proud to put my name to everything I write, I have no fear of anyone digging anything up that will shame or embarrass me. Unlike yourself Ziggy, I don’t need to hide behind multiple screen names, your fear is pathetic, almost childlike. Are you afraid your identity will bring a big reaction, or, more likely, a massive yawn. Hilarious that you accuse me of being a troll, whilst you are the one with a fake identity! Lol. However, you with your cowardice and troll behaviour, don’t get to call me a liar. The cheek of it!

Not allowed what? As usual you are talking gobbledegook. The alerts of the dogs will never go away Ziggy, they are captured forever on video, and still play a big part in the investigation. Why do you think Scotland Yard took digging machinery out to PDL. Where do you think 'Maddie might not have been alive when she left the apartment' came from?

That's your position. What's the position of the police ?

'' Why the reluctance to prove their innocence Ziggy? You may sneer at the 48 questions, but since when do suspects get to censor the questions that are asked of them?''

Innocence doesn't need to be proven. It's assumed until guilt is proven.Refusing to answer inane- or any other kind- of questions isn't censoring them.

'' Who are they to judge how detectives work?''

That would depend on them being either onlooking members of the public or victims of a crime which the police were floundering around clumsily trying to understand, and getting nowhere near solving on their behalf. They lost a child, not a handbag.

'' I don’t think there are any circumstances whatsoever where I would disrespect the police who were searching for my child''

We'll take your word for that. How would you feel if they then started calling you a liar and then of burying her ? Would you still respect them or demand they retract their accusations or prove them ?

''It would be wrong on every level to forget the tragedy of Brenda Leyland Ziggy. ''

I agree. But we can remember quietly and privately rather than bring the tragedy to light if you need support for a personal crusade. It's disrespectful to her, her family and it's in dire taste.

'' Are you afraid your identity will bring a big reaction, or, more likely, a massive yawn. Hilarious that you accuse me of being a troll, whilst you are the one with a fake identity! '

Paranoid nonsense. Is it the drink driving you again ? Is using a screen name online on forums, twitter and blogs considered trolling now ? Because you put your name to your trolling doesn't mean you aren't trolling.I don't care about names on the net.If anyone has a personal problem with me they're welcome to visit my city and arrange to meet me.I'm here to post ideas and points of discussion and question myths. You question me.It's easier.

''Not allowed what? As usual you are talking gobbledegook. The alerts of the dogs will never go away Ziggy, ''

What are they contributing to the detectives investigating the crime ? What purpose are they serving ?Are they being presented as exhibits ,b and c for the prosecution ? No. They're not allowed by the prosecution service as they aren't considered a safe bet. Why would that be do you think ?

''Why do you think Scotland Yard took digging machinery out to PDL. Where do you think 'Maddie might not have been alive when she left the apartment' came from?''

It's simple. It's because they( UK) were considering all possibilities, not just one. That's what detectives do if they've learned anything. So they may need diggers to find a body ( as Amaral said in his many hypotheses). They haven't found one though have they ? But they satisfied the Amaral faithful for a while when they dug.

''Their evidence has never been discarded and never will be.''

They were possibilities entertained by the police. That isn't actually evidence is it. How come you can't ( won't) see that ?If it was evidence we wouldn't be in year 12. Where we are now is as far as it goes.Your denial won't change a thing.Your happy ending isn't happening.Look at the calendar.

    14. 'Innocence doesn't need to be proven'. Very idealistic Ziggy, because you must be aware that is not how it works in reality. The final statement in the PJ files states the 'McCanns failed to prove their innocence'. And that Ziggy, is why the McCanns have had years of suspicion and grief. Had they proved beyond doubt that they were not involved in Madeleine's disappearance, the last 11 years would have entirely different.

Regarding attitudes towards the police. I stand by my original statement. I wouldn't care how the police treated me, my only goal would be finding the child. The McCanns might not have liked the police, but they were their best hope of getting their daughter back. Getting into a confrontational situation with them goes of the bizarre scale.

If they were innocent, they had no need to fear any of the police questions, inane or otherwise. They would be eager to get themselves ruled out so the police could focus on the real perpetrator of the crime. I am sure we have allift experienced and enjoyed occasions where our truthful explanations have 'cleared' us beyond doubt. When you are telling the truth you don't have to remember anything (Swift I believe).

Most people know that when witnesses refuse to answer questions, it is not because they are innocent, it is because they fear incriminating themselves. Robert Murat was a 'talker', willing to answer anything they put to him, and volunteering more information than they asked for. He was safe in the knowledge that he couldn't incriminate himself, because he hadn't done anything.

The idea that the mother of missing child would refuse to answer police questions is mind boggling. And dismissing it as self preservation doesn't make Kate sound any better. As Trump once said 'only criminals plead the Fifth [Amendment]'. You can repeat over and over that nothing should be taken from Kate's refusal to answer the 48 questions, but for most people, police included, conclusions will be drawn from her silence.

We will have to agree to disagree on the mentioning of Brenda Leyland. Unfortunately, this tragedy will be forever intertwined with Madeleine's, because it demonstrates the lengths this family and their supporters will go to in order to silence their online critics. It was an act of such extreme cruelty, it should never be forgotten.

In your deranged mind the evidence of the dogs has been discarded, never to rear their woofing heads again. If it makes you happy to think that, go ahead Ziggy, but it has little to do with reality.

I would imagine the costly digs in PDL were as a result of a significant lead Ziggy. That the body wasn't found, doesn't mean it isn't somewhere in that vicinity.

Your bitter 'Happy ending' retort, reflects your own personal feelings. Do you honestly think anyone wants Madeleine to be dead and the parents charged, as if it would myself and others pleasure? You really don't know me at all Ziggy.

I don't in any way see the final conclusions of OG and the PJ (whatever they might be) as a happy ending. A small child has lost her life, it is a tragedy from whatever way you look at it. Justice is solemn Ziggy, there is nothing happy about it. I want to see justice in this case, as do the hundreds, perhaps even thousands, who have followed it. Justice for Madeleine, Justice for Goncalo Amaral and Justice for Brenda Leyland.

    16. One final point Ziggy. You are accusing me of being paranoid and drunk, yet it is you who is going to great lengths to hide your identity, lol. You are the one hiding in the corner with a cloak over your head ya big wuss.

You are not just another member of anonymous forum. You are here to defend the McCanns and put forward other suggestions that will take suspicion away from them.

You are unable to hide your personal hatred of me. That's fine, as a writer I have the hide of a rhino, but your vindictive digs (crazy, drunk, hater etc), reveal just how deeply you are involved in this.

So too, your irrational hatred of Goncalo Amaral. Any sane, rational person, would not blame the detective who searched for their daughter. If you are a genuine fan (or is that superfan?)of the McCanns, your personal hatred of GA is illogical, or, to put it another way, batshit crazy.

If your cause is righteous, then own it! I am sure the McCanns would be delighted to learn of the amount of time and effort you put in to defending their cause. It must be mortifying for the McCanns to know that their supporters hide behind anonymity. Why no-one is prepared to support them publicly is yet another anomaly in this strange tale.

As I've already stated, anyone who has a personal issue or problem with me is welcome to visit my city and see me.If it's that important it's open.If I'm a 'big wuss' there's nothing to fear is there ? 'One final point'- are 'jc' 'T' or 'jj' or 'j blacksmith' real names and identities ? If not, are they too 'hiding' and 'scared' ? Or are the rules different fo them as they don't have the McCanns as innocent ? In other words, they don't question the unsubstantiated garbage you throw on the page.I referred to you being drunk as it seems that you often must be. But that's only using what you say as a guide. It would certainly explain a lot. Then again, maybe it's just who you are, and what you're about. That would explain much more .

''You are not just another member of anonymous forum. You are here to defend the McCanns and put forward other suggestions that will take suspicion away from them. ''

No sugar, Sherlock. There's hope for you yet.

''You are unable to hide your personal hatred of me''

I hate nobody. Why would i hate a photo and name on a screen ? That's paranoid.I dislike your narrow view and the spite you express about too many people and things and your arrogance in believing you already know more than anyone so there's no need to change.

''So too, your irrational hatred of Goncalo Amaral. Any sane, rational person, would not blame the detective who searched for their daughter.''

Is it irrational to dislike a detective who failed the parents and was removed by his bosses then took it out on the parents by accusing them of burying /cremating/freezing their own child without a single shred of evidence to back himself up ?

'' It must be mortifying for the McCanns to know that their supporters hide behind anonymity. Why no-one is prepared to support them publicly is yet another anomaly in this strange tale.''

I'm sure they know the kind of freaks that lurk online filled with angst and spite- they should do, let's face it.If I ever saw the McCanns here I'd approach them and tell them who I am and what I've said. They'd probably be baffled and pissed off.I doubt they bother reading online blogs /forums/ youtubes any more. Why would they ?

”As for the 48 (yawn)questions. Read them. They were ridiculous questions and it was clear that they were designed to try and trip a parent up who was already dazed by what had happened”

If you’re suspected of a serious crime, is it then morally justifiable to refuse answering questions asked by police investigators, just because you find the questions ridiculous or because you imagine that the police detectives are going to use anything you say against you, even if you’re innocent and give honest answers?

Anyway, Kate then had an extraordinary chance to become completely exonerated(she and Gerry are not) by co-operating with the Portuguese PJ. Instead she and Gerry took the first step in trying to challenge the entire Portuguese judicial system, which, as we all know, was a battle they eventually lost in the Portuguese Supreme Court.

( 'Must issue proof'-did you see that ?)

''And that Ziggy, is why the McCanns have had years of suspicion and grief.''

From members of the public .There isn't any 'suspicion and grief' coming from the police force- only one member who was removed from the case.

''If they were innocent, they had no need to fear any of the police questions, inane or otherwise.''

You say they feared them.No McCann said it. They've been accused of being unco-operative.

'' When you are telling the truth you don't have to remember anything (Swift I believe). ''

Yes, and a good liar needs a good memory etc.But silence isn't telling anything. No comment is no comment.

''The idea that the mother of missing child would refuse to answer police questions is mind boggling''

Read the questions. They're more mind -boggling.Were they composed by drunks ? 'No comment' is usually repeated to avoid being incriminated, I agree. But it's usually in respsonse to direct questions or statements and not obscure ones relating to nothing ( asking about dreams ? seriously ?). It may be usual but that doesn't mean it's carved in stone. Why wasn't KM asked straight questions instead. Then her 'no comment' as a tactic could be questioned.

''In your deranged mind the evidence of the dogs has been discarded, never to rear their woofing heads again. If it makes you happy to think that, go ahead Ziggy, but it has little to do with reality.''

Twelve years and counting.Who has the deranged mind ?

Or not. It's PDL not Canada. You cold dig the whole town up in a week.

I do. You're not complex, your confused. You're are fixated on the parents and their( in your narrow view) guilt.

'' A small child has lost her life,''

Can you prove that ? Are the police liars ?

''Justice is solemn Ziggy, there is nothing happy about it.''

So why is there so much collective rejoicing when justice is seen to be done ?

I don't suspect the parents of any involvement and i can't see why they have been shielded so tightly. I believe the evidence that may have existed ( cadaver scent, blood etc) being useless( and it has been) could be down to the same protectors. They could be protecting who abducted the child. That doesn't mean they're protecting the parents but it would go some way at least in explaining the bottomless pit of funding for the investigation and false leads. It all makes the parents look suspicious and the protection and funding is compensation for them and to pacify them.Brenda Leyland committed suicide. Who knows why . It's in bad taste for the vigilantes to place themselves as judge and jury in that on top of everything else they're messing up.The Sky / Twitter ambush didn't help but she was already on her way to a hotel when Brunt jumped out on her.Who knows why she was going there.

I don't want to get into a catfight on your very rationally written site... but by reading some of the contributors to your blog over the past couple of years Messrs Z VT V T or whatever alias he/she currently uses, - this person, I have to say is straight-out weird.

To any sane citizen of the planet, (99.99% of the world) who has read the facts of the case of the missing little girl in Portugal it's more than clear - The dogs, the decomposing body and the clothes washing of evidence by the parents, and the sighting of a carried body by the Smith family - all these the McCanns have contemptuously shrugged off. You would think as concerned parents they might want to follow these leads up.(But, Hey that might incriminate them.) Exactly.

Anyone with the merest, superficial knowledge about what happened in Praia Da Luz to the missing McCann's daughter knows what went on.
However much obfuscation it's all as plain as a pikestaff.

The individual who writes with the multiple online personality disorders appears to be either an out-and-out psychopath driven by an inner malicious urge, or a paid/pal of the McCanns.

The expression "Dumber than a bagful of hammers" comes to mind.

Bizarre to suggest - but on a long standing track record, could the person with the built-in hatred for the truth who waxes so frenziedly be none other than Mr Gerald McCann himself.
I am sure a quick check with McCann lawyers Carter Ruck would confirm this one way or the other. More so when handcuffs snapped over wrists for daring to make such an assumption.
    The truth will out someday.
I should rephrase that. - The world knows the truth already...

    6. Again with the bitterness 15:11. Is it because the McCanns, even with a blank cheque, couldn't find a single talented writer to pitch their abduction story?
Gerry and Kate are not natural writers, they struggle every year to put together anything meaningful on the anniversaries. Gerry's blog and Kate's book, confirmed that they are not deep thinkers nor are they well read.

By comparison, Goncalo Amaral writes like a scholar, and a gentleman. His understanding of the world around him goes much deeper than that of the seemingly shallow parents. But that's why Goncalo's Truth of the Lie, was the far superior book. It will stand the test of time, Kate's won't, and hasn't. In admitting to one lie, she opened the door for all the others to be questioned. It might have brought in a wad load of much needed cash at the time (to sue GA), but the damage it has done to their cause is incalculable. It would be remiss of any investigating police officer to overlook the hundreds of red lights it contains.

I am sure it must gall you that the gripping posts of JC keep us enthralled, whilst the lengthy diatribes of VT, force us to skim read. It is a shame for the McCanns that all the talented and creative writers oppose them. All they have is the uninspiring Mitchell, Gamble and Summers and Swan telling people what they should believe rather than persuading them.
Preaching is a no no in writing (and in life), but for some, it's all they have. See emotionally and sexually repressed Bennett et al.

I like the cut of JC's jib. He/she has a real talent, and I am a little chuffed, that JC comes from the same school of writing as myself and SixYearsInaComa guy, we eschew the grammar police and the politically correct, and go straight for the nail on the head.

I don't speak to my readers in a snooty, elite, vernacular, I laugh in the face of the pretentious. I like things explained to me as if I am 4 years old, always have. And I figure, if that is what I like, so too, do many (silent) others.

I despise pretentious writing. I despise those writers who think the best way to get their message across is through a series of cryptic clues - wtf? I have little patience for those who beat about the bush in order to use their vocabulary of big words. I have to fight back the urge to tell them to get to the fffing point!

I once worked as an examiner for A-level English, that is I was bombarded ever day of the summer with exam papers to mark. Naturally I had been to a seminar on 'grading', and at that seminar we were all agreed. Too many students used 'big' words just for the sake of it - that is, out of context and inadvertently subverting the meaning of what they were saying. The general consensus, was to mark down.

Perhaps for me it was a good year lol, because I see this grammatical faux pas everywhere. The most hilarious example being Clarence Mitchell and 'ludicrous'. Don't get me wrong, I love to see 'wide boys' making it in the still class oriented establishment, I am not criticising CM as a snob, I am criticising him as a lover of the English language. So much to choose from, and he came up with that! It would have gone down a bomb in Petticoat Lane, on the world stage, not so much.

"Where do you get 'so secretly' from"
They were digging under small tents. It seemed so to me when I saw pictures from the digging. In case that they had found some remains from a body, those could easily have been taken away without any journalist or photograph getting a chance to see and confirm the findings. That's why I used the word "secretly". Still, I mean it had to be so in order not to feed the guilty person(s) with details that would be used against him/her in court.

    3. Journalists and photographers can't confirm anything like that, they're not qualified.Only a forensics team could confirm anything. Then, once they give their verdict it goes before a huge panel of social networkers-even less qualified than photographers, to give the most important of verdicts.Tents popping up randomly in a small holiday town isn't exactly covert. That's probably why journalists, photographers, and other ghouls were hovering.

  9. To Mr "T" and his buddy at @17:17 and @ 12:00

I'm more than happy for you do a tear down, and demonstrate your frenzy.
The fact of the matter is that experienced English tracker dogs identified blood in the 5A apartment - (But maybe I'll give you a break here, - it could have been another holiday maker's blood that was found, - how about the previous renter's blood, does that sound right.)

Very few people die or shed blood in foreign holiday apartments excepted the more modern news reports of English Teenage/Adults drunkenly hurling themselves off hotel balconies in the Spanish Mediterranean islands. The mess in these cases is on the street not in an apartment.

Well, you say,...it must have been a nosebleed. The shivers start to run down the spine here. Nose bleeds that need scrubbing the floor with bleach... maybe not so much.

To top it all. The McCann's virtual doom laden hypothesis of their innocence was shattered once and for all - and actually years ago - by police dog trainer Mr Martin Grime's flawlessly accurate tracker dogs detecting decomposing human body odor in the boot of the McCann's rented Renault Scenic three weeks after the "abduction". Plus the neighbor down the road from where the girl's parents were staying noticed the open airing of the car boot for many days and nights.
Nothing unusual about that Gerry supposed. He was transporting merely rotting meat and children's soiled diapers - just like every holidaymaker does.

One might think the McCanns would throw in the towel at this stage - but Gerald McCann's response was "Find the body."
It's kind of a ironical because only he and his wife know where they hid the body.
At night they must chuckle about this no end.

      “Hello, I love you
Won't you tell me your name?”

Are you ‘Anonymous’ 6 September 2018 at 13:02?

My 17:17 post is impeccably courteous. Yours, I would suggest, isn’t. If you really want to have a discussion with me, courtesy is paramount. Humour, sarcasm, taking the piss etc. are fine by me.

That said, your first sentence, translated into English, “I'm more than happy for you to do a teardown and demonstrate your frenzy.” is a fine example of how to not invite me to a discussion.

May I be so impertinent as to ask you to cease referring to me as a Mr: T is sign, a cross, an approach to crossing a boundary?

      Peace.

And doesn't Grimes realize that Madeleine's body wasn't in a car as it had been frozen weeks before as well as cremated( ask Amaral).

No one will be more surprised if the police do find a body or any other evidence than Praia da Luz residents who know the site well. They point out that countless walkers and their dogs have crisscrossed the scrubland interminably over the past seven years.

The area comprises bedrock and soil so hard that a kidnapper or anyone else trying to dispose of a body there would have needed a JCB himself. That anyone unfamiliar with the area could have buried evidence at nighttime or unseen is not feasible, they say."

      “благословит вас”

      благословит
Third person, singular, indicative mood, future tense conjugation of the perfective aspect verb благословить (initial (infinitive) form).

      вас = you

      Therefore:
благословит вас = The (omitted) Grammatical Subject, a singular entity, ‘will bless you’ or ‘will have blessed you’. Here, the absence of the Subject makes it impossible for the reader to figure out what the writer is saying.

To say ‘bless you’ in Russian in first person singular, one would say Благословляю Вас/тебя. The absence of the Grammatical Subject in this case entails no ambiguity, since the ending ю indicates unambiguously that it is the writer/speaker who blesses (the suffix ля has a different function). The meaning of the agglutinated/composite root благослов: благо = good, слов = word.

There is more to it, but we don’t want to complicate things, my friend, do we? :)

      “Тут опия утопия
      У топи я
      Утоп и я”
      Y F

Furthermore, лол is not a Russian word. Depending on the font used and other factors, лол can look very much like поп, Russian for ‘a priest’ (compare: лол поп). I thought you signed off as ‘поп’.

Благословляю Вас тем не менее (= Bless you nevertheless). :)

Success is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration. Sadly, I have never put the 'perspiration' in, that is the flogging of my work. I have a huge back catalogue that I hope will be discovered one day, but such is my luck, it probably won't be until I have lopped off an ear and kicked the bucket!

    3. Actually no I don't 19:32, perhaps that is something I should sort out when I get my affairs in order. 'Constance' will make it to the 'big screen' one day, on that I have no doubt. She is the most interesting and exciting female lead role since Scarlett O'Hara!

Actually, it is leitmotif throughout my work, all my heroes are women! I have an entire screenplay based on the barebreasted heroine of Delacroix's Liberty leading the people, entitled 'Adele'. Another of my working class heroines from history.

I should of course attempt to sell my work, most of it is based around the French Revolution - a Masters I intend to do in my salad days, if I have any (days) left, lol. It is an interest of mine, that has kept my mind occupied since I was 14, history is a passion. Tbh, at this grand old age, I had hoped to be able to study and explore history in depth, but I find myself watching history in the making, right now, as it is happening, and I am both outraged and overawed.

How can this be? how can we possibly be watching the rise of an intrinsically evil movement, when so many died in the last century to oppose it. It is breaking my heart, I'm terrified beyond belief. The 'England' of George Orwell and Dad's Army, is being overtaken by sinister forces and we are accepting these manipulated divisions without question. Since when were our fellow Europeans the enemy?

Jeremy Corbyn isn't anti semetic, I am sure, he, like I, read Exodus many years ago and have a full understanding of the Zionist cause. Shame on those who have used the very real suffering of the Jews, to justify what they, the Israelies, are doing now to the Palestinians. One wrong doesn't justify another.

I am proud to say I had a publishing deal with Random House. I am proud to say I had a book published - it ticked a box. But it wasn't the book I wanted to do, it was an opportunity I couldn't turn down. Other writers I am sure, will understand.

I wrote the book at a time when I was 'educated' (yes, as in Rita'). I no longer saw myself as a victim, I had hit a watershed. I found it ridiculous that these freaky people had had so much influence over my life thus far. What was I thinking?

I wrote my memoirs, as I remembered them at the time. I wasn't subjected to the horrors of my peers, because I had parents, and even at that age, a big gob, and lots of attitude. I fully understand the need of the nuns and the Uncles, to batter me. That's why I flinch at those who say how great it was at the convent. It was great for them, because they did everything they were told to do, and believed everything they were told to believe. I don't envy them, even now, their time at the convent might have been a much easier ride for them than it was for me, but I pity them now as much as I ever did.

I spent most of my early teens battered and isolated. I couldn't and wouldn't give in to the submissive, creepy world my carers had created. I would not accept their freaky system of hierarchy, I refused to see myself as a 'lessor' person, and always have.

My Court case against the Church revealed the ancient punishment book, and records of my defiance. I was faced with them as I stood in the witness box. I was too proud, too arrogant, their goal was break me, make me a better catholic and more humble. Thus the black eyes and broken jaw were justified.

I still don't know what made those nuns and those 'carers' so cruel and sadistic, even though I have spent a lifetime trying to find the root of evil.
Nature, nurture, who knows there are good arguments for both. It is perhaps a phenomenon I will study when I am free to write about the Madeleine case as I would like.

    4. Hello Rosalinda

”I have spent a lifetime trying to find the root of evil”

I felt that I had to say a few words here.

I actually believe that you’ve encouraged a lot of your readers here and also those of your book ”Cry and You Cry Alone” to reflect on the root of evil, since you’ve illuminated the phenomenon in question so often, especially with regards to the Madeleine case.

You certainly know more than I do about evil being much more than just explicit physical and mental violence and that it exists everywhere, especially in our attitudes towards people who we fear or who we just don’t understand.

Where law and order rule and even in seemingly cosy and normal social environments there’s often evil, though we do not always see it before we become victims of it or even bullies and oppressors ourselves, if we are too narrow-minded and selfish.

Isn’t evil also a kind of a prerequisite for the maintenance of our social hierarchical structures and the patriarchal community, which allows a continued oppression of weak people on many levels in society?

If human beings are good or evil by nature has been discussed by philosophers for centuries. However, human nature and the root of evil are all so complex and multifaceted, that there will probably never be a clear intellectual understanding of how and why mankind are capable of committing so horrible deeds (especially in war) and why we all undermine the very foundation of our existence by our way of living. Having said that, Rosalinda, I’m still optimistic about a better world, because I believe in a kind of universal goodness after all, but I’m also aware of the existence of evil in human behaviour and what the consequences could be, which you have experienced much more than I have.

    6. My search for the root of evil continues Bjorn.

Up until the age of 10/11, I had lived a blissful non evil existence Bjorn. My parents were free spirited liberals, not in the hippy sense of naming myself and my brother after trees or rivers, but there was nothing authoritarian about them. My mother gave birth to my brother at 17 and myself at 18, she was more of a mischievous big sister than a mother. Her goal in life was to have fun, and I have long since forgiven her non mum like behaviour, because in many ways the alternative was so much better!

We often skipped school, not to lay on the couch all day, but to go on 'adventures', days out in London visiting the sites, and eating in fine restaurants, that would somehow accept that she 'forgot her cheque book', and the cheque would be in the post. She was so convincing, even we believed her!

My brother and I were never punished (nor were my own sons), my dad was too soft to punish anyone, it simply wasn't in his nature (as it is not in mine). Not that we ever did anything deserving of punishment, our wrongdoings were explained to us, and that hurt a lot more!

To my dear old mum bless her, everything was a giggle, even when she got mad and threatened to beat the daylights out of us. Her clouts round the ear usually missed, and if she did give chase we were sprightly enough to jump out of the way. All punishments and threats thereof ended in giggles every time.

this has turned into a blog Bjorn :)

    9. Hi Rosalinda and NL. Since you're seeking the roots of evil Rosalinda and NL mentioned Nietzsche, here are some thoughts.

In modern literary criticism, literary texts are often analysed beyond accepted normal traditions, religions, behaviour and norms and should so be imo.

I assume that many of the “modern” literary critics like Chomsky, Lacan, Starobinski, Derrida, in dieser Hinsicht, are influenced by Nietzsche’s philosophy among a lot of others as well. Therefore, I find it relevant to mention such intellectuals, as they're all seekers of truth in their approach to life.

If there had been a cultural life in the true sense of the word in Germany in the 30th, evil would then have been a natural theme to discuss, wouldn’t it? Intellectuals together with all kinds of people, who then questioned the authorities, would have been entitled to freely and unprejudiced discuss and criticise what they feared the most and believed was about to happen, and from many perspectives, one of which could have been Nietzsche’s. Unfortunately, that was not the case and we all know what happened, but still not really why. Or do we?

I'm well aware of that the nazis were experts in misinterpreting any philosophers in order to use their works for their own political purposes.

  17. Hi Rosalinda,
As you have stated many times before, the greatest mystery of all about the McCann case is the intervention and support they got from the UK government; the criminality of the parents (my words) notwithstanding.

Why was another layer of criminality and interference in the sovereign affairs of a foreign country launched by the government of England for the purpose of extricating these two doctors, and getting them out of harms way. How else to explain the most astonishing turn of events.

It was, after all, a report about somebody with a missing child - It happens all the time. And police deal with it.
This was not world war 3.

To quote the words of Winston Churchill about his dealings with the former Soviet Union. "(They) are a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma."

His observation goes for this case too. The public are none the wiser.

The two doctors whom the UK government was finagling to let off the hook did not dwell on a council estate in Hackney, they lived a well heeled existence as medical practitioners in comfortable security amongst the green fields of Leicestershire.

Moreover it turned out the couple were on nodding terms with high-up members of the government and the establishment.

You have to ask yourself what sort of person locks in the speed dial numbers for PM Gordon Brown and the Prime minister's wife Cherie Blair on their mobile phones.
    I know I don't.

But luckily over the years (it's taken this long) with the input of blogs like yours, and postings of so many of your contributors, the evidence is pretty well conclusive for the McCanns despite their clamorous protestations of innocence.

This applies to the couple's media appearances.
And a quote that pretty well sums them up:

Astonishingly, Gerry sat behind Kate squeezing her shoulder as she gave her statement. And, as we know, she never gave a second one.

Operation Grange CANNOT overlook the interference of the British government in the original investigation. Some might say it is the reason the case remains unsolved 11+ years on. How, in their final report, are they are going to explain the pressure the British government put on the Portuguese to remove the lead detective Goncalo Amaral from the case? Especially if the theory of the original investigation proves to be correct - as is looking likely. The involvement of Blair, Brown, et al, is an Oops on a public inquiry scale.

I'm not surprised they kept those VIP numbers JC, or that they advertised the fact. Government backing gave their publicity campaign and fundraising, legitimacy. The Police Federation gave Gerry a standing ovation, Sir Bernard H-H released balloons for them and Head of CEOP, Jim Gamble appeared alongside them on the morning TV shows. Leicester Police I believe, carried a link to the Madeleine Fund on their web page! (The Vatican dropped theirs).

    2. The assistance the McCanns received from the 'Establishment' is staggering, should the truth be revealed, there will be a sea of red faces. I can see their defence already, 'am I a bad person for refusing to think badly?'. The supporters have always taken the moral high ground, it won't stop now.

Whilst the journalists and hosts of morning TV, might get away with that, it won't work for the former police chiefs and TV criminologists. These experts in crime were duped and they have, knowingly or unknowingly, duped others. Would the Madeleine Fund have raised the millions it did, without their help?

The crime as described by Goncalo Amaral in the 'Truth of the Lie', was a simple one that could and should have been solved quickly. And it was heading that way until the British government intervened.

Thereafter, it was no longer a simple case of child abduction, or not, it became a massive conspiracy, one we hope Operation Grange are endeavouring to unravel. How many, for example, could be charged with perverting the course of justice?

Well, we are in September now, and the last lot of funding must be running out. Will they call it day? Will they release their findings? I think we are all now past bothering one way or another JC. It really only matters to those involved, and for them I would imagine, this is a pretty tense time.

    Are they really?

I suggest everyone actually reads them. They are relevant to the enquiry of a missing child.

  19. Ziggy Sawdust.
What we know so far and what we suspect.

From his own lips or rather typed words in past posts over at least the last 2-3 years...his name is Mark,he is a life long Bowie fan,he lives in Liverpool,he is a football fan(presumably Liverpool and not Everton...I think he did mention once but I cant now find it) so is probably a member of the Kop,goes by the screen name ziggy sawdust and VT and thinks the McCann's are entirely innocent, but there is probably a high level cover up to protect a VIP who was the abductor.

Now what we suspect... his real name is Michael Wright and uses Mark as a supposed real name to confuse.( see my post(s) above about ex Liverpool player), his role is to monitor blogs and forums and lead people away from the truth. While giving the impression he supports the cover up idea and is in fact a sort of 'anti'. A previous poster (me) a while back used the term false prophet, albeit in a humorous way at the time.
He uses various aliases online and likes to pretend he is someone else saying how good ZiggyVT is and how sound their(his) arguments are and how they make perfect sense. When challenged about this, the answer is,it is an accepted form of writing to refer to one self in the third person ( or at least T does, his main supporter)
Some other real posters here are taken in by it all,but most are not.

Now my personel view... his real name is indeed Mark,he is a life long Bowie fan,is a member of the Kop,is around or just above 60 years old and does indeed use aliases to support his arguments pretending they are other genuine posters.
However I do not believe he is Michael Wright, nor do I believe he is 'connected' in anyway.
He genuinely believes there was an abduction and it was by a VIP of some kind so hence the cover up.
So firm in his belief that he is acting almost like a'pub bore' and 'posting for England' in trying to convince us.
Not me though, while I might agree with some of what he says, the McCann's know more than they are letting on even if they didn't do it.Which makes them not entirely innocent(even if they are under orders to keep quiet). So, that is where Mr Sawdust and I differ.
And yes,I do wind him up(and others here),quite a lot actually, but I'm sure he knows that.

(“Read the questions. Then her 'no comment' as a tactic could be questioned.”)

Yes, read the questions and, as JJ said, there was no question about dreams.

In her book ‘madeleine’ Kate McCann responded to a lot of the 48 questions, not to all. For example:

“Is it true that in England you even considered handing over Madeleine’s custody to a relative?”

A simple no would have sufficed, wouldn’t it?

I am neither JJ nor genius, but question 29 has nothing to do with dreams.

    Fiona Payne:

"Erm, Dave's idea was Portugal. Erm, I'd never been to Portugal before and he'd been, erm, at least once before (inaudible), erm, a few years ago with his sister and he, he was always very keen to go back. Erm, and I hadn't been, it sounded nice, so we sort of looked at the Portugal website and thought well it's good flight times for the kids, erm, it was quite early on in the season there so we were sort of in two minds whether it might be warm enough, et cetera. But, but spoke to others, erm, at that point I think, erm, we put it to, I think they were the only four, erm, three families we put it to really and Jane and Russell were very keen immediately as were sort of Matt and Rachael and Kate and Gerry were a bit undecided. Erm, and this always haunts me, erm, because Kate, huh, what had she said, when I was sort of twisting her arm really, she was unsure, I think Gerry was immediately quite keen, erm, to come and Kate had said, when I rang up, she said 'I don't know why I've just got an uneasy feeling about it'. And I don't know why she said that, I don't think she even knows, I never mentioned it to her since, but she said, you know, that was it really, but Gerry was so keen that she just sort of thought okay let's go for it."

    2. Hello T, always nice to see you.

I have found one but not the other, but it is in your power I believe to do this yourself. In answer to your other query, no, I'm afraid which I hope doesn't prove problematic.

I am well, but still unfocussed. I find I am to be a grandmother, so have spent an inordinate amount of time knitting. The problem is, I'm really not very good a it, and should stop, but can't! It reminds me of the time I painted Vincent Van Gogh's Sunflowers in oils. To be fair, it was painting by numbers, and I had no idea of how time consuming and compulsive it was. I lost days, maybe weeks, and had a glimpse into the upside down world of Michaelangelo.

Sadly, being bad at something doesn't make me stop, as anyone who has tried my quiches will attest. My knitting efforts thus far are reminiscent of the crude undergarments worn by Vikings, somewhat lacking in style and finesse!

Anyway, my kindest wishes to you T.

The only thing I can think of is why Kate McCann said what she did is because they did not have Madeleine living with them full time (as the PJ knew, hence their form of questioning) so Madeleine must have been like a stranger to KM and had no love for her, neither did GM. Perhaps they were told by her foster parents/SS that she should go on the holiday with them, much to the McCann's reluctance.

If a row blew up at the PDL apartment about Madeleine being there when she was not wanted, then Madeleine may have felt the full force of that anger.

I'm not saying that is what happened but could have been as KM seems to have known nothing about Madeleine's likes and dislikes when she wrote her book, like many Mothers would do. It all seems made up by KM as a bit of a fairy tale to cover up for her inadequacies for not knowing anything about Madeleine.

  25. Here's something the mole who trolls your web pages could get his teeth into.

If the McCanns never searched for their missing child (as they have admitted) in the first moments of her "disappearance",
(Instead, praying like Arabs, like two policemen attested).

Isn't it likely they well knew searching was a waste of time, as their daughter was long dead.

Minutes after her death this couple had to think fast on their feet and decided on a botched cover story of abduction backed up by false sightings and lies from their doctor friends and families.
The play-acting looked as if had succeeded for a couple of years. Enough to generate a million pound+ fund to pretend to promote the search for their daughter, - a girl no one would ever find alive - to this very day.

In the interim, people's thoughts turned against the disgusting antics of the doctors McCann. People were sickened by two human beings who could prostitute their daughter's death into a bargaining chip for paying off the mortgage of their house, and further, suing the chief detective in the case when he wrote a book called "The truth of the lie" explaining with 100% accuracy exactly what happened in the investigation and the hopeless lies and non co-operation from the couple.

Long ago this case could have been prosecuted in a heartbeat.

The Portuguese Judiciary were likely ready to do just that - but were prevented by the still unknown interference of people in power in the British government.

No one in Portugal is accusing the McCanns of anything, (yet); but could searching for an urn full of human ashes on the mantelpiece of the McCann's house in Leicester by British police be a start for Operation Grange.
How do you get a search warrant for something as macabre as that? Well it wouldn't be easy, but remember, Doctor McCann famously said "Find the Body" - so there shouldn't be any concerns for the McCanns about a knock at the door.

Operation Grange appears a seemingly ineffectual schoolboy style investigation of British detectives confined to England and totally out of their depth ( As Ros has noted ) due to the Portuguese language barrier.

Eventually OG will end or peter out and we might get an inkling from the British side of where Scotland Yard stands.
But will the Portuguese prosecute. That's the $64,000.00 question.

In early days the Portuguese Judiciary seemed to have ironclad DNA evidence coming from the trunk of the vacation hire car but apparently the number of DNA Alleles or blood markers were not quite enough to prosecute according to European legal standards.
But would have been easily acceptable in America law.

So once again the McCann's have squeezed under the wire.

A guardian angel is surely protecting the two adults - but sadly not their daughter.

I'm afraid that he really did.

    I’m sure that I’ve heard/seen a YouTube clip in which Gerry in a very bad mood shouted at the journalists who surrounded him;
”Find the body and prove that we killed her”

I believe it was at the end of the clip I refer to here below.

Unfortunately, this clip must have been shortened a few seconds or it could also have been another video-clip from the very same occasion outside Lisbon Court, which is no longer on YouTube. Anyway I remember the whole scene and it was in this context Gerry challenged the journalist. A lot of people must have heard what I’ve heard.

If Operation Grange really are working on the case, they ought to find out what Gerry said, where, how and why.

  29. Hi Rosalinda,
I just checked out an interesting old September 2007 Daily Telegraph report. When newspapers were more open about the McCanns.

It gives the list of directors of the newly formed "Find Madeleine Fund". (Still in existence today)

Some of those listed quit well paying jobs to collect a director's salary for the new position that could vaporize any day before their eyes.
But I suspect they all had a fair inkling that the little girl would never be found which is true 11 years to this date. And to their relief these people have hung on to those jobs since then.
    Here's the list:

Clarence Mitchell, ex government spin doctor and former head of "Media Monitoring" heads the list.

Next: two lawyers, one famous for defending Chilean torturer Augusto Pinochet from extradition from Britain to Spain.
And also listed: his lawyer partner the defense lawyer for a well known British personality fighting pornography charges.

The next group are another lawyer, a Portuguese man who helped the McCanns with their affairs, and three others, friends and family members who are naturally supportive.

Is there anyone out there who can tell me what these individuals have been doing all this time beside drawing a salary. (Albeit from the pockets of deceived well wishers).

The world knows the little girl they are pretending to look for has been dead for eleven years.

'In a speech Monday, John Bolton said Washington would not cooperate with The Hague-based court and threatened it with sanctions, saying it put U.S. sovereignty and national security at risk.

  33. It is a big question as to why SY have spent £11million on this case when Madeleine disappeared in Portugal. What has SY being spending the money on when they had no jurisdiction over the case unless they have been feeding the monies to the PJ. But then the PJ knew it was not an abduction from the outset. So where has the money been spent, on tracking overseas financial transactions perhaps of the £millions the McCanns accumulated.

Now (if) SY has pulled out, it only leaves the PJ when it was their case in the first place. SY could only deal with the finance side if the Fund was fraudulent.

I can't see SY spending £11m without coming up with nothing, perhaps they don't need any other funds because they have everything they need to know, and are handing the investigation over to the PJ to finish off or perhaps I'm being too optimistic but I really can't see why SY asked for those extra funds 6 months ago when they knew they had nothing in the bag, so to speak.

  34. Hi Rosalinda,
I don't want to clog up your site too much but I just checked on the "Missing People" charity and did a run through of their listed personnel.
They don't list Kate McCann on their website anymore or on any of their photos of "Key people" which include a "Duchess" - (no less than a first cousin to the "Queen Elizabeth 2nd") Wow.
The five other mugshots include actor Stephen Fry, entrepreneur Richard Branson, and two TV "Presenters" whatever in God's name a presenter is, and finally a TV "Journalist".

I am sure all these people are the most worthy individuals including the two founders of the organization who managed to pick up a couple of OBE,s on the way through their careers with @missingpeopleorg.

Maybe it's because they are so worthy, that in this particular year there is no mention of the woman who joined their organization as a spokesperson for her "Missing Daughter".

I wonder if the penny has dropped. I'm sure the charity would dread having to reveal a "Ringer" in their midst. That would really upset the applecart.
I assume Mrs McCann is still a spokesperson - as she can never quit until her daughter is found, and the bad luck is: that date is likely the first of never, - as the old Johnny Mathis song goes.

  35. According to tbe Daily Fail and one or two others,Grange will be coming to an end in three weeks.
Indefinitely suspended is the term being speculated on,which presumably means no conclusions one way or the other.
    How convenient.

    1. The stories today go against what was said yesterday and apparently Grange is asking for more cash.
Some news management going on it would seem to prepare us.

    2. Thank you 22:13 and 07:42. I have been checking out the latest Madeleine news this morning and it's hard to tell what is going on. This case, as always, is a barrel of red herrings. Which is a very good title for a blog! lol Watch this space.

I think it is significant that Officers from OG have been visiting Portugal. That to me suggests they are liaising closely with the PJ, which of course is essential if they are working together to bring a prosecution.

'Funding for Madeleine McCann probe due to run out

Speculation is growing over the future of the UK police hunt for Madeleine McCann after it emerged funding will run out at the end of the month.

The youngster was three when she was last seen on holiday with her parents in Portugal in May 2007.

Scotland Yard launched its own investigation, Operation Grange, into her disappearance in 2013 after a Portuguese inquiry failed to make any headway.

UK detectives were granted an extra £150,000 in March to continue the probe, to cover until the end of September.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said the force is “in dialogue regarding future funding” with the Home Office.

A Home Office spokesman said: “To date no request has been received from the Metropolitan Police Service to extend funding for Operation Grange beyond the end of September 2018.”

The department said any request for further funding by the Metropolitan Police will be “carefully considered”.

Operation Grange has cost £11.6 million so far.'
