I PAINT MY NAILS TO IMPRESS THE MEN

'After this week, Smithman will the central focus of glamour-girl, Vogue-featured 'I paint my nails to impress the men' DCI Nicola Wall.
Tony Bennett.

Ooh that got has got my feminist heckles up this morning (angry face).  My blood is boiling. Tony's reference to 'painting nails for the men' reveals so much about his attitude to women, and indeed the 21st century and so too the dimwits who support his creepy misogynist stance.  Of course Vogue would be interested in a high flying female detective, it is read by women worldwide! We like reading about other women and especially those with powerful careers. We don't want to read about women who are barefoot, pregnant and shackled to the kitchen sink.

What the hell is wrong with a bit of glamour?  Must DCI Wall wear tweed suits and brogues with her hair slicked back in order to be taken seriously? Is her nail polish and lipstick a distraction to the men? In that case what about the cute young male detective whose hair falls so seductively over his brow when she's brings him tea, should his bangs be cut off or stuck down Hitler style to prevent any outbreaks of attraction in the workplace?

What a dull old world this would be if it were ruled by Tony and his devoted followers, a world where a glimpse of stocking is something shocking and heaven knows. Apologies I drifted away there.

Tony's bizarre statements reveals that his theories are growing closer and closer to those of Team McCann - they are united on Smithman, and now it seems they are united on criticising Scotland Yard. I can't help wondering what the old rogue is up?

Tony is a man of strong religious beliefs, that include creationism, and he has a fixation on the weird sexual practices of other people, a fixation shared by lots of religious zealots and wannabe saviours of our morals and our children.  I don't want to focus on their sex lives, I haven't yet had my breakfast, but they seem to believe there are legions of devils among the rest of us having Roman orgies in our bedrooms.  They believe they have given 'all of this up' to follow the divine path, and are therefore superior and have earned the right to stand in judgement.  It matters not that other peoples' sex lives are probably just as dull as their own, what is actually driving them is the product of their own (very disturbed) imaginations and logic has long been discarded.

Tony believes there is an international paedophile ring operating in PDL that runs through and up to the highest echelons of British society and he wants to be the Christian soldier who drives them out with his trusty sword.  He cannot accept that Madeleine's disappearance could simply be the result of a tragic accident (or indeed murder) and opportunist parents.  There must be paedophiles in there somewhere.  On the 'paedophiles on every corner' front, he and Jim Gamble are singing from the same hymn sheet.

Robert Murat was selected as a patsy very early on.  He was a single man, living with his mother and shock horror, he had a bit of porn on his computer.  All the other stories about him, I won't repeat because they are so offensive, but Tony Bennett bought them hook line and sinker because it suited its own ideology and agenda.  Here was someone he could hate even more than he hated the McCanns - a sexual deviant! However, I have no doubt, when the true story of Robert Murat being made an arguido emerges it will be clear that he was 'fitted up' with the profile, the anonymous tip off, and the bizarre bestiality stories from childhood - obviously created by a big fan of Criminal Minds.

Today will be very interesting indeed.  Tony Bennett will be jumping for joy if RM is made an arguido again, if he is, it will confirm a whitewash.  If he isn't Tony will claim the whitewash continues. Whatever the outcome, it looks as though the McCann case is heading towards the perfect storm and it is being led by an attractive, glamorous female who knows rather more about the ways of the world than an antiquated preacher who twitches at nail polish.

  1. Well I had to walk away from the computer - I was so stunned to see blatant untruths written about DCI Wall. And some fine upstanding member states DCI Wall will be carpeted for appearing in Vogue - she obviously had not read the article. Doesn`t she realise the MET would have seen it as a good PR piece of journalism. They are doing themselves no favours in making enemies with someone who they need on side. Doubtless DCI Wall will now take any information from their quarter and shove it in the bin.

  2. The idea that a paedophile ring is involved isn't really based on hysteria; it's based on an anlysis of the case. It could be wrong, but it's hardly an outlandish thesis. Bennett may think this, but he never really says it directly but sticks to the evidence.

Wall should be given a chance, but if she's anything like Redwood, then I'll still be thinking it's a whitewash. I can't understand why you're so anti-authoritarian in a general way and on unimportant matters like ID cards; and yet on specific matters like OP Grange, when it so patently looks like a whitewash, you're bending over backwards to defend them. In general I don't care about what the authorities do except on the really big issues.

Finally, just two days ago you implied Isabel Duarte was ugly and that she liked the showbiz aspect of her job. So where were your feminist ideals then?

    1. I believe in Operation Grange because I believe mankind (and indeed womankind) could not be so evil as to cover up the death of an innocent child. Yes there are indeed evil people in this world, people who are drawn together by shared ideals that would revolt most of us. To believe this is a whitewash, we must believe that all the officers working on this investigation are rotten to the core, men and women who go home to the families every evening knowing they are part of a team ensuring a murdered child will never get justice.

I am not denying paedophile gangs exist, they are extremely dangerous and put Lord knows how many children are at risk. Ergo, if there is a paedophile gang at the root of this case, where is the urgency? As Kate herself said, these people don't just do this as a one off. Scotland Yard, it seems, have all the time in the world, something that will need a lot of explaining if Tony Bennett's theories are proved to be correct.

And finally, with regard to my comment about Law being showbiz for ugly people, the statement was clearly generic, the Law, as referred to comprises both men and women. No-where did I imply Isabel is ugly, I think she is a very elegant lady and I feel sad for her.

    2. Well thanks for the reply Cristobell.

However I can completely believe the death of an innocent child can be covered up. There is a history of a lot worse. e.g. 9/11 or Hillsborough.

The mechanism by which a whitewash occurs doesn't IMO require a team of officers who are rotten to the core. You simply need some corrupt officers at the top; a group of officers who know the score but don't think it's worth losing a pension for; a group of officers who don't like it and are duly transferred to another case; and finally a group of officers who are dumb as bricks/ or willing to do anything for a promotion.

As for the premise that a peadophile gang would imply urgency, on the part of Scotland Yard, I'm really lost for words. Haven't you seen with what speed they've investigated Lord Britton and co and the rest of the Elm Guest House crew? We're 30 years on and they're still pissing about. And Jimmy Saville as well. No, when it comes to paedophile rings they sure as hell take their time.

    3. With all due respect Thomas, there's a lot of people involved in this and Rosalinda is talking about her soul.

    2. As sycophants, toadies and fawners go Aquila is now in a league of her own.Her paranoia is now at an advanced stage and added to her abuse of independently minded/successful women it seems she is having a breakdown of sorts. She has so much poison you could sell it.

    4. @14:23. I often wonder why Aquila has never been banned .... she is without a doubt the most rude poster on that forum with her constant insults. I have been reading the forum for a couple of years. Initially I signed up and started posting. But soon stopped posting after her constant flow of attacks.

    5. I agree. The problem is not, as she tells us ,that she has no education but rather the rudeness and intolerance of other viewpoints. She also seems obsessed with Cristobell and that is probably the reason she has not been banned as she does Bennett's dirty work in attacking people brave enough to stand up to him.

@Anonymous. I can't break the habit of a lifetime. I'd just like to know, for those of us who believe in a whitewash, when it is we're going to look (extra) silly.

As for aquila, she's the worst kind of troll the internet has to offer. I can't believe she's never been banned or at least taken aside and told she has to behave. She contributes nothing and just picks fights. I've often thought she must be a relative of someone on the forum to get away with what she does, or that maybe she has special needs or soemthing, so people forgive her. Or maybe she's working for team Mccann.

Not really sure the last is true though. Probably, if you met her in real life, you'd just have a good long laugh at her, and all the feelings of anger that she can induce in people would rapidly dissipate into light hearted indifference.

Yes, what great 'research and analysis' - including libelling an innocent man because he hasn't checked his 'facts'. Tigger has gone 'toe to toe' with him, and shown him to be completely wrong and out of order, both morally and legally.

It's not for me to make the 'greatest writer England has ever produced' look silly - with statements like that, and egocentric, narcissistic video blogs, you've managed to pull that one off all by your lonesome. I've no time for your absurd fantasies.

  4. There's no reason for me to make any assumptions about Ms Wall's investigative prowess at this moment. However, what I do see is NO badness in her eyes.

I see: focus, logic, instinct, kindness and understanding and "take no prisoners". Let's wait and see!

Regarding Mr Murat: Yes he lied, he admitted he lied, but he has never given me the P vibe, as I see it Rob is too soft and too helpful for his own good, he helped them out, he handled the passports and scripts (generic statements). I'm not judging him for this, it is merely what happened.

As events unfolded and he was portrayed as a monster that is when the evil bullies showed their true colours, it was thoroughly disgusting and we know who the elements were orchestrating this filthy diversion campaign.

If I were Rob I would do a deal with the British, because as Kate told us when she was being honest: "I know what happened happened under other circumstances".

Rob got sucked in, but I'll bet my life savings and everything I own he is responsible for harming precisely NO ONE!

    Godspeed Nicola and Operation Garage.

    1. Not at all, I just have more respect for the investigating skills of Goncalo Amaral and the Portuguese police than I do for those of Tony Bennett. I have found a lot of Tony's research to be flawed and heavily biased. Whenever a commentator distorts the facts to fit their own theories I stop reading them. I have never made a secret of this.

  6. Madam, hatred is a very unhealthy trait. Why can't you just ignore the man instead of picking on everything he utters, does it really matter that much what he thinks? If it does, I'm sure Carter Ruck will be close at hand to take control, it doesn't need some embittered feminist nobody to stir the cauldron of hate

    1. I haven't actually mentioned Tony for months, so you begin with a lie.

Actually, no it doesn't matter one bit what Tony thinks, it does matter that those read about the McCann case get a balanced view of those who campaign for justice for Madeleine. The McCanns have done a great job in labelling all doubters haters, pitchforkers and over the top obsessives and Tony has given them the ammunition.

As a non believer of the McCanns, I want to disassociate myself from his aggressive form of campaigning, his harassment of witnesses and now his criticism of the new lead detective on the grounds that she wears nail varnish.

Unfortunately, he is seen by the UK MSM as representative of all us. So just to perfectly clear, his biased, misogynist views are his alone, not those of the majority who wish the new DCI well.

    2. Team McCann want us to go away and ignore them. There is a body of evidence that suggests TB may be in cahoots with them for whatever reason.
Bennett must be held to account for his lies and manipulation of the facts.

    3. Madam, no not a "lie" as you so inappropriately say. It's an observation formed by reading some of your prejudice.

If people want to read about the case, their best source will be the PJ files, not the opinions of the general public. Team McCann would have labelled their critics haters, pitchforkers and obsessives without the input of anyone in particular.

If you want to disassociate yourself from aggressive campaigning, witness harassment and criticism of a detective then why don't you do just that. You can start by ignoring rather than spreading.

I have yet to see an example of the UK MSM identifying one particular person as a "representative of all us". Perhaps you could help?

Wish the DCI well? Why would I do that, I don't know the person but if she give me reason to doubt her capability, I will.

  7. 14.38 I think the suggestion that Tony Bennet is in cahoots with Team McCann really is a conspiracy theory! I don't agree with all of Bennet's methods but I think some of the comments about him including your own Rosalinda are unfair. He is not the only one by any means who thinks a "whitewash" will be the outcome of this charade. It's obvious that the McCanns have friends in high places and only for the political protection they have this case would have been solved seven years ago.

  8. As a fully paid up member of Team McCann I can assure you that bennett is not a member.

The money he has to pay each month helped us too swell numbers of the team to monitor everything everywhere posted about the case.

  9. 05.41 thanks for confirming what we all suspected. Namely, that K&G have paid trolls posting. This has always been denied by McCann supporters. Conversely, it's hardly news that sites like this are monitored by the two celebrity child-neglectors and their supporters. I'm not exactly trembling in my boots knowing that.

  11. 13.14 Bennett is as relevant or irrelevant as any other onlooker or pundit on this case. It won't matter one jot what anybody thinks or posts on various forums. It will be decided by the agendas of the British and Portuguese governments,

  16. 14:23 No, I'm not suggesting we give up. I am suggesting that any posts on any forums will have no bearing on the outcome of this case. I had "given up" in the sense that I'd said all I wanted to say about the case. I have made a bit of come-back as it were, by posting on this and other threads of late. I think this case is coming to a conclusion of sorts. I just don't think the McCanns will be brought to justice. I tend to agree with the likes of Pat Brown and Tony Bennett. I hope I'm wrong and I'm sure that Brown and Bennett would happy to be proved wrong also.

My apologies, I misunderstood what you were saying. For this case to be investigated properly the McCann's should be questioned about every inconsistency in their statements, and only then might we get somewhere near the truth! Anything less, and I will ALWAYS be of the opinion this is one massive cover-up.

    ReplyDelete
  18. 14.51 No problems, perhaps I should have made my point a bit more clearly. Having said that, the McCanns have NOT been questioned about every consistency in their statements in seven and a half years. And I don't see that changing so I also believe it is a cover-up. Read Pat Brown's post about the appointment of the new head of 'Operation Grange' Those who express belief in Operation Grange give the opinion on forums that they are eliminated all scenarios before coming to the McCanns. That to me is absurd, Why did Operation Grange not START with the prime suspects and grill them on the inconsistencies to which you refer? You have intimated as to the answer.

I understand where you're coming from.. but to normal thinking people none of this makes one iota of sense. I am really beginning to despair whether Madeleine will ever see justice! I along with many others would like to know WHY the McCann's are so bullet-proof? and are able to duck and dive and avoid being hit every single time? surely they ARE the main targets for the investigators!!!

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas.

The McCanns do indeed seem to be bullet-proof. The political protection they have is nauseating enough. Their elevation to national celebrities and the vilification of the Portuguese Police by the British Media makes me want to vomit. I would suggest you watch Richard Halls doc and his 18 minute talk about this case on youtube. I think he is nearer to the mark than anyone as to why the McCanns have such high-level protection. I also think he is nearer to the mark than anyone regarding the purpose of 'Operation Grange'

Like you, I wish someone with some credibility would put an end to this obvious farce, we could be going round in circles for evermore trying to suss out the culprits!
I am of the opinion that although Nicola Wall has taken on this investigation as it stands, should any new information come to light that implicates the McCann's in the disappearance of their daughter, then surely she would have no option but to do the right thing, one would hope!! I watched Richard Halls talk and was impressed with what he had to say on the subject, but I'll still wait and see what happens in the New Year before I admit defeat.

Wishing you all the best & thanks for replying to my posts in a courteous manner.

I wish I could be optimistic regarding Nicola Wall. I tend to concur with Pat Brown's blog on her appointment as head of Operation Grange. I would suggest you read it, if you have not done so already. With regards to new information that implicates the McCann, I refer to Paulo Sargento who said that "had it been a Portuguese couple they would be in jail" There was and still is enough circumstantial evidence already to convict them, We know why they have not been - because they have friends in high places who have a vested interest in protecting them.Wishing you all the best also,

I read that Jerry has Masonic connections! Maybe that's why there is such a high level of protection surrounding them? If this IS true, then I doubt if there'll be a good outcome. Such a lot can be hidden within these secret groups.. as you will probably know!!
